Understanding The Sustainable Development Goals


This is an engaging and interactive workshop that offers an introduction to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 and represent a global call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all.


Through a variety of activities and exercises, participants will learn about the SDGs and how they can contribute to a more sustainable future. The workshop encourages sharing personal experiences and learning from others. It is suitable for anyone who is interested in gaining more knowledge about the SDGs.

In this programme participants will:


  • Learn about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

  • Understand the importance of the SDGs

  • Explore ways to achieve the SDGs

Students will get to learn more about Sustainable Development Goals, the importance of setting these goals and how best to achieve them.
