What is the Empathy Box?
A ready-to-run Accessibility and Inclusivity Booth in a box. Set up in your canteen or another open space where students naturally gather, it creates a hands-on carnival of stations, each pairing a real-world challenge with the assistive technology that helps meet it.
The activities invite students to critically reflect on and experience how persons with disabilities navigate daily life, to recognise disability as a part of human diversity, and to explore how everyday technology can be used to remove barriers and promote inclusion.
