Empowering students with creative digital skills, AI literacy, and purposeful media creation
We are excited to open applications for the Apple New Media Programme 2026, a refreshed and forward-looking experience designed to help students build real digital creation skills while making a positive impact in their communities.
Built on Challenge Based Learning principles and infused with the Changemaker skills framework , the 2026 edition brings an updated curriculum for both Primary and Secondary schools. Each track blends hands-on learning with creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and responsible use of technology.
What’s New for 2026
To meet evolving digital trends, all tracks now include AI for content creation, improved AR modules, and more opportunities for students to apply their learning through authentic projects. Updated content planning ensures every module is engaging, relevant, and aligned with modern media practices.Â
Why Schools Should Join
Future-Ready Digital Skills
Students gain practical experience across photography, videography, podcasting, digital drawing, AI content creation, AR storytelling, interactive media, and more. They learn using Apple’s powerful ecosystem of creative tools.
Authentic Learning Through Real Projects
Each track guides students to create meaningful digital outcomes such as short films, AR posters, podcasts, digital zines, or immersive AR scenes. These projects also prepare them for national and school-based competitions.
Cultivation of Changemaker Mindsets
Learners develop empathy, critical thinking, creative confidence, communication, teamwork, resilience, and leadership the essential skills highlighted in our Changemaker framework.Â
Challenge Based Learning Approach
Students investigate real issues, design purposeful solutions, and reflect on their learning while documenting their process. This approach supports deeper engagement and gives students a voice in addressing community needs.Â
Aligned to MOE Priorities
The refreshed programme supports media literacy, cyber wellness, responsible AI use, and 21CC competencies that schools aim to develop in all learners.
Customisable and Fully Funded Options
Schools may tailor tracks to suit their needs. The programme remains eligible for IMDA funding, providing accessible pathways for all schools.
