Last November, we had the pleasure of welcoming Nadia from Fairfield Methodist Secondary School as part of the Young Changemaker Programme. Although her time with us was brief (a little over a week) — she parted with invaluable skills, new insights, and unique experiences that will continue to shape her personal growth into the future.

A key highlight of Nadia's internship was her active participation in our in-house Young Changemaker Camp. During the November camp, she picked up digital storytelling and videography skills, including basic filming techniques and video editing using iMovie. By applying these new skills to a hands-on video project, Nadia learned how to blend creativity with practical tools to bring abstract ideas to life!

Nadia also had the opportunity to put her newly acquired iMovie skillsets into action by serving as a workshop facilitator for the Social Innovation Hackathon @ Apple. Helming the Shooting Tips Workshop, she guided participants through the basics of digital media creation. Navigating this facilitation role proved to be an insightful experience, teaching her how to connect with individuals from different backgrounds.
Nadia's Reflection
"Through this internship, I learnt how to blend creativity with practical skills to bring abstract ideas to fruition. Helming the workshop at Apple also taught me how to approach people from all walks of life with patience and sincerity."
Nadia's proactive attitude and dedication reflect the core values and principles that the Young Changemaker Programme stands for. We wish her all the best in her journey, and we look forward to welcoming more curious youths to lead and drive meaningful change!
